Last week in the Maker Space I began the "Mulch Signs" for the Miramichi Super Store Garden Center. Thursday morning I finished cutting the lettering out and took everything home with me to complete them for opening on Friday morning. The manager is VERY pleased with the final results of the signs.

Last week in the maker space I worked on the grad banner for Mr. Jamieson, I did a smaller banner so that he could see what it looks like. I also got asked by my work to do up some "Mulch Sign" for the garden center.
Last week also we had the University Of Moncton in talking to us.
Next week I am planning to take some cool video of the car going down the track at the High School Drag Challenge.

This week in the maker space. Micheala and I worked away at her ribbons for the little girl that she knows that has cancer. We cut out some and she took them home to peal.
I am looking forward to doing the grad banners this second haft of the semester.
Teacher's signs are all up and are looking good. Hoping we don't have anymore problems with people trying to take them down !!!!
The last couple of weeks we (Micheala,Justin and Spencer) have been busy on trying to get the teachers signs done for this weeks parent teacher interviews. Our goals where to get them all done so that when the parents came in that they could easily find the teacher they where looking for, and also to show them what we have been up too in our maker space with the vinyl cutter.
Also, myself (Bethany) have been busy doing other little projects for different things such as, the memorial stickers for the hunting and fishing show wr had last week.
Micheala has been busy trying to come up with a disign for her ribbons she wants to cut out for a little girl she knows that is very sick! All grwat success going on with us in the maker space :)

This week in the maker space, we got the old cutter working again, which means that we were able to cut out some more teacher's names (for the second side). Micheala joined me due to her sowing machine broking! So I was able to show her what to do! So now we'll be able to get these signs hopefully done! She seems to be liking it, which is a good thing!
The L brackets are getting done down in the shop, which is great! Just another step to getting them put up :)
I was able to complete one sign completely for parent teacher which is coming up next week! We are excited that we are going to be able to show the parents what we have been up too!

This week in the Maker Space (only having one day). I was playing around trying to make the Teachers name tags on the new system, were the old cutting hasn't been working right.... Old cutter wouldn't let me do any cutting, nothing at all... Wouldn’t even let me set any of the settings.
Hoping that Mr. Whalen is able to show me how to fix it after the break so that I am able to cut out the second copy of the teachers name so that I am able to finish them and be able to put them up on the teacher’s doors.
Ordered 21 different colors of Vinyl this week as well. Now we will be able to do different color of stickers.

This week something went wrong with the old cutter, which slowed me down from getting the second copy of teacher’s names done... Which means I’m going to have to set down with Mr. Whalen and try and figure out what is going on with it... Hopefully nothing to big, because the new system will not open my memory stick with the outline of the teachers name on it.
This week I have begun my search of the different types of Grad Banners, for the teachers banners that Mr. Jamieson wants me to do up for him. The plastic banner itself and also looking at getting some more vinyl. 25 different colors. :)
Also this week I have been able to take home the teacher's signs to complete, honestly thinking that we are only going to need one piece of plastic. Just names on both sides.
