Today we worked on the apostrophe and where it fits into our writing.  We used a mentor text to highlight the 2 places where an apostrophe is welcome.    Get in good copies of snapshot moments if not already done.   Progress Reports will go out next Wednesday instead of this Friday.

Final copies of Snapshot moments are due tomorrow.   I will be collecting Writer's Notebooks tomorrow for a participation mark.

Started revising drafts of snapshot moments today.  Looked out the strategy of "branching", to add detail.  Students are to look for at least 2 spots where they can add a front, middle or end branch to their writing.   Circle any words that could be substituted with a stronger, more precise word.   Picture Day tomorrow!
