Message to MVHS Families

Posted: April 1, 2020

This message was sent to all homes today via talk mail from Vice Principal Mary Lou Hudson on behalf of the school.

This message is for Wednesday, April 1.

First of all, please let me say that we, the MVHS staff, have been thinking about our students these past few weeks and we miss you. This is a very different and sometimes difficult situation we find ourselves in; however, we hope that by working together, we help each other and can continue moving education forward.

This message is to inform parents and guardians that plans are currently being developed to support Home Learning opportunities for our students. The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD) will be releasing details later this week that will give everyone a clearer picture on what Home Learning will look like for our students.

Following EECD’s announcement, we will begin the process of working with families to formalize Home Learning during the Covid-19 crisis. Please check the talk mail messages, the school website, and the school Facebook page for the latest updates.

Teachers will also be contacting students within the next week. This is a check in to touch base with everyone.

Thank you everyone and we look forward to working with you in the coming weeks.
