We are excited to announce that the school will be open at designated times next week so students can retrieve their belongings.

MVHS will be open on Tuesday May 5th, Wednesday May 6th and Thursday May 7th from 9 to 11 and 1 to 3. We ask that students with last names A to H come on Tuesday, I to O come on Wednesday, and the remainder pick up their items up on Thursday.

It is important to note that all students or parents accessing schools will ensure they are following the screening protocols that will be posted at the building access points. In all cases, physical distancing protocols (2m/6 ft ) must be observed and either the student or a parent or guardian representing that student will be permitted entry.

Students and/or parents will form a line outside the main entrance of the school and wait for a staff member to invite them in. Waiting spots will be marked on the walkways outside the school to ensure physical distancing. Students or parents/guardians will disinfect their hands upon entering the school and will be permitted escorted access to the locker area or classroom, if applicable, to retrieve items at the times designated on the schedule. Staff will be available to escort students and parents in the school. Physical distancing protocols must be observed. If a student or parent is unsure of the locker number or the lock combination, there will be a station set up to give that information. Parents and students will collect belongings in a timely manner and not be actively involved in socializing.

Parents and students are not required to wear a mask if physical distance is maintained; however, it is strongly recommended that people wear a mask in public settings. Masks or gloves will not be available for distribution at the school.

If students have a team uniform, please return it at this time.
