New literary terms discussed today:
1. Allusion: a brief reference to a person, an abstract concept, or an important object is directly addressed
2. Analogy: shows the relationships between pairs of words/ideas
3. Alliteration: words begin with the same sound
4. Monologue: a speech to a character who is presumed to be present.
5. Oxymoron: contradictory terms appear side by side.
6. Dramatic irony: when the audience knows something the characters don't know
7. Situational Irony: when the opposite of what is expected happens
8. Verbal Irony: sarcasm
