Miramichi Valley High School and James M. Hill Memorial High School will co-host the 19th annual Pizza DeLight Miramichi Hoop Classic Nov. 18 and 19.  The tournament will be a single elimination format with a consolation bracket, and features 8 girls and 8 boys teams from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.    The boys’ side of the tournament includes Miramichi Valley, James M. Hill, Bathurst High School, Moncton High School, Oromocto High School, ESN, Sugarloaf Senior High School and Dalhousie Regional High School.  The eight-team field on the girls’ side of the tournament consists of Miramichi Valley, James M. Hill, Amherst Regional High School, Ecole L’Odyssee, Saint John High School, Rothesay High School, Southern Victoria High School and Sussex Regional High School.      The tournament tips off on Friday November 18th at 1 PM with games being played at 4 gyms across the Miramichi.  Tournament play continues at all four gyms throughout the day on Friday.  Tournament action will be played on Saturday November 19th at MVHS and JMH only.  The championship games are scheduled for the Miramichi Valley High School gymnasium on Saturday, November 19, with the girls game slated for 2:00 pm and the boys set to tip-off at 4:00 pm.
