Eighteen MVHS Outdoor Pursuits students headed off recently for a two day excursion that was to include mountain biking, camping, caving and outdoor cooking in the Hillsborough area. Backpacks were crammed with supplies and spirits were high in spite of the grey skies and light rain as they boarded the bus to take them to their destination south of Moncton. Next week eighteen more of their classmates will follow in their wake on an overnight hiking trip on the Dobson Trail which is in the same area, and they too will do some cave exploration. The groups are led by teachers, Mr. Paul MacKinnon and Mr. Jim Watters.
