Monday and Tuesday will be turnaround days for teachers and as a result, students will not have school.  Semester 2 will begin on Wednesday, February 3 for the blue team and Thursday, February 4 for the gold team.  Report cards will also be given at this time.

Please return picture retake order forms by February 4.  Pictures can also be ordered online.

MVHS will be conducting its Assessment and Demonstration of Learning from January 22nd to January 29th.  This will replace our traditional exam schedule.  Please note that on Thursday and Friday, Period 5 will be conducted during period 1.  Please open the attachment for the schedule and more information.

Starting at midnight tonight, New Brunswick will go to an orange alert level, as announced this afternoon by the province's Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Jennifer Russell.  We would like to remind you of the changes to our school operational plan relating to the move to the Orange Phase.  (See Attached Documents Below For Full Details).

The Miramichi Public Transit Commission is providing a fully subsidized bus pass to all Grades 9-12 students for spring semester of 2021 school year. Students will be instructed on how to ride the bus, the benefits of choosing public transit, and safety and appropriate behaviour when using the bus.  Please open the first attachment for steps on obtaining your bus pass.  the second attachment is a permission slip that will also be distributed at MVHS.  For more information on schedules, stops, etc. please visit Home - Miramichi Transit

Miramichi Valley High School is one of seven schools across the country receiving 2020 Share2Care Mental Health Grants.

Physical and Health Education Canada says it launched the Share2Care campaign, aiming to recognize and share unique, innovative, and promising mental health practices that are making positive impacts on students, school staff, and the entire school community.

The seven schools will receive $2000 each to initiate or further advance their mental health initiatives.
