This Notice if for ALL Students in my (Mr. Trevors) English 113, Social Studies 9, English 9 and English 10 classes...

I will be posting all of the PowerPoint Lessons that we have covered in TEAMS over the next few days.  If you have missed any time and want to catch up with what you missed, check there! 

Directions:

1. Open your TEAMS Class Page

2. Click on the Files Tab.

3. Click on the Folder marked "Class Materials".

All PowerPoint Lessons will be listed there by topic.

I will also show you how to do this in your next class.

Most of the items we have covered will be posted in Class Materials by Monday, September 28th.

BLUE TRACK - Complete the research and questions on the Bluenose and the song by Stan Rogers that we talked about today.

A few reminders for next class - Either Monday or Tuesday

Please have an independent book chosen for use in class on your next day.  We will be doing some work with them!

Please make sure you have a Writer's Journal with you for next class as well! We will be starting Quick Writes!

Blue Track

Please complete your Landform Postcard for Tuesday!  Check in your text book for more details on the one you choose.  Remember... ADD COLOUR to your postcard!

Instructions:

Draw and label one of the landforms.  Note it’s location. (You can use your text book – pages 26 – 29)
On the other side of the postcard, describe the creation of the landform, including reference to the forces of erosion and deposition that created it.
Include colour in your picture.

Reminders for Next Day!

1.  Please find yourself a book for independent reading!  I would like to begin with these ASAP.  You should have a book chosen for yourself by September 20th for use in class next week.

2.  Please return your Student Information sheets ASAP with any changes.

3.  Remember to complete your How I Learn Best writing piece -- This is due September 17th!

4.  Please find yourself a Writer's Journal/Notebook.  This can be one from Staples or can simply be a Duotang folder in which to keep your writing.  This is a seperate notebook/journal from the one you take notes in class in!

REMINDERS:

You should have an novel/book for independent reading chosen by September 20th.

You will need a Writing Journal/Writer's Notebook by September 20th -- This is a seperate item from your regular binder or notebook you take notes in class in.

 

Don't forget your writing piece "How I Learn Best". Don't forget to include examples of how you know this about yourself!
