Good afternoon MVHS parents and guardians,

With the announcement of a second case in our school, we know that you are anxious for further information. While we have been through this process with schools in other parts of our district, this is the first experience here in the Miramichi area. Please be assured that the safety of our students and staff is a priority for ASD-N, and we will continue to follow all directives provided by Public Health. Because the current situation (not only at MVHS but throughout our entire community and region) is ever-changing, we will be closely monitoring all developments over the next 48 hours. This will allow us to make the most informed decisions possible. We will provide another update to you late afternoon on Sunday, to keep you informed of the latest developments and to provide direction for the upcoming school week.
