Today the students wrote a quiz at the beginning of class covering everything up to this point (primary trig ratios, solving for a missing angle, solving for a missing side). We reviewed homework from last week and then looked at examples of solving triangles where students are expected to find all three sides and all three angles. They should only have to use their primary trig ratios once, and then they should be able to find the rest using other skills like Pythagorean Theorem and Sum of Angles of a Triangle Theorem.Students were assigned #1-7 on their worksheet to 'solve' each triangle. They will not be able to complete #3 as they are missing information.
