Justin and I decided to 3D print for our second project.  We thought that 3D printing a prosthetic hand would be really cool.  To get used to 3D printing, Justin and I printed off a little figure of Snoopy the dog from Charlie Brown.  The print was a success and is currently sitting on the shelf in the classroom.  We had a success with our density being 15% for the supports, so we used that for all of our supports.  We then got to work on the hand, we started on the small stuff, which is the brackets and the fingers.  We were lucky enough to have all of the small stuff fit in the same print.  We then printed out the palm and the back of the hand.  The palm was warped so we are trying to get the base off of it, if we can't, then we will reprint but in a different filament.  We most recently got our forearm printed off, so now all we have left to print is the flexible filament to keep them all together.
