Discover 2018 on Saturday, May 26th from 1 - 4pm at Max Aitken

“Discover 2018: Journey into Innovation” will take place on May 26, 2018, at Max Aitken Academy in Miramichi from 1 PM to 4 PM. This event will be an interactive showcase of innovative teaching and learning happening throughout our district.

Student Learning Leaders and Teacher Facilitators will guide you on a hands-on journey that is sure to inspire. The event will be an incredible learning playground for students, educators, and families, with over 50 activity stations that will offer something for everyone, from literacy to music, robotics, sports, science, gardening, math, coding, aquaponics and so much more!

Discover 2018 will also play host to student entrepreneurs. Support the entrepreneurial spirit in our students by exploring The Marketplace. Student-run businesses and student formed non-profit organizations will have their products available for purchase.

Student performances of original songs, poetry and more will be highlighted during the opening and closing ceremonies. All students who attend Discover 2018 will have the opportunity to win a 3D printer, books, and various other prizes.
