Since we have started this project it feels as we have accomplished nothing compared to some groups. We have learned how to make stickers- lots and lots of stickers. We have been putting the stickers on our phones, or saving them to put somewhere as we go. We haven’t really came across any technical difficulties except for the fact that we forgot how to use the software multiple times, and had to ask Mr. Hallihan for assistance. That mistake taught us the importance of the little journals we must keep for each day in class, because if we would have journaled the instructions we would have known the steps.
After a lot of stickers we finally found a project we could do. We have decided that we are going to make nametags for Mrs. Grattan’s preschool class here at our school. We are typing their names into the software “Silhouette” and printing off the stickers on the vinyl cutting machine. We still aren’t sure what we are going to stick the stickers on when we are done, but we have discussed some ideas with Mr. Hallihan.
For the privacy of the families/children we cannot upload an example of how the name tags will look, but we will post a picture of one of the stickers we have made.
