Project Proposal

The last few weeks I have been working on Adobe Illustrator ot create the layers for the light shadow box. At first it took me a while to get a layer made and I had to get used to the program, but now that I have been using it for a while it doesn't tak as long to get the layers made. Another thing that I have done is I took a layer I had created and put it over to Sillihouette Studios and used the vinyl cutter to cut the layer out in card stalk. There wasn't really any problems with this although the card stalk did rip a little and stick on the mat, I found that because the mats are so sticky the card stalk is harder to take off the mats and it is harder to peel the design off. The last thing I did was that I took the mats for the vinyl cutter and sprayed Goo-be-Gone on them to get the sticky side off. This is a very messy process so I had garbage bags under the mats, this also leaves your hads very sticky even after wash your hands so I would recomend using gloves if you are going to do this. After all the sticky side was off the mats they were tapped to the table and a even layer of Easy-Tack was sprayed on terh mats to make them sticky again. If you put to much of this on then it will make everything harder to take off the mats and certin things you use, like sticker vinyl parts will come off onto the mats. So far I never ran into any major problems with this project.
