Due to today's school cancellation, the exams that were scheduled for today, January 22nd, will be written tomorrow, January 23rd.. As a result, the exam schedule will move ahead one day. Exams that were scheduled for Thursday will now be written on Friday, and exams that were scheduled for Friday will now be written on Monday. There will be no classes for students on Tuesday, January 28th. Semester 2 will start on Wednesday, January 29th.
Course changes for grade 10, 11, and 12 students can be made prior to the start of sem 2 on the following days during exam week:

The yearbook committee will be holding its FINAL sale next week...and yes, we mean final. Only ten extra yearbooks will be ordered this year. So, it is important that you purchase your yearbook next week or online. The cost of the yearbook is $45.00. It is still possible to get your name embossed on the cover for an extra $5.00. On Tuesday, November 26th, from 7:00-9:30 pm, various universities/Colleges will be at MVHS to answer and inform you of the programs at their institutions. Families are also invited to attend this session in the gym. On Wednesday, November 27th the grade 12 students will be involved in a walk about session and individual sessions. The grade 11 students will have a walk about session and return to class. Grade 9 & 10 students are invited to attend the evening session on Tuesday, November 26th.
This is to inform you of the upcoming Immunization Campaign targeting Grade 9 students for the 2013-2014 school year. All grade 9 students are eligible for a vaccine against meningococcal infection. This vaccine offers protection against four types of meningococcal disease: A, C, Y and W-135. You will be receive a pamphlet shortly that will include the consent form for your child. Please complete both sections of the consent form and return to your child’s homeroom teacher by November 19th. The immunization clinic will be held in the MVHS cafeteria on Thursday, November 21st.
