Miramichi Valley High School would like to thank Walmart for their kind support this year. Walmart has adopted MVHS for the 2016-2017 school year, and has supported out student council, team and the grad class through dontations and in-kind support. Again, we sincerely appreciate the support.
AT MVHS, our Mo-Bros and Sistas support Movember. Along with the Movmber Foundation (https://ca.movember.com/?home) we try to raise funds and awareness for men's health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. The Hoop Classic Basketball Tournament schedule has been released and is attached. The first two games have JMH and MVHS boys and girls meeting for the first time this season. Enjoy the weekend.
Attention potential grads and parents of potential grads:
We will have our first fundraiser on Saturday, November 19th. It will be a bottle drive from 10am to 1pm. We need everyone to come out to help and all money raised will go toward safe grad prizes and popcorn and pop at the theatre portion of safe grad. Please meet at the industrial area of the school for 10 am on Saturday morning.
Report cards will go home on Wednesday, November 16th. Parent teacher times will be on Thursday, November 17 from 4-6pm and Friday, November 18th from 9-11:30. There is no school for students on Friday, November 18th.
Join us at Circle K on October 21st, 2016 at 160 Jane St. from 4pm-8pm for FUEL UP NIGHT. Head to Circle K and fill up your tank. 2.5 cents per litre purchased at every pump will be donated to Miramichi Valley High School. MVHS would like to thank Circle K for their support. #FuelingOurSchools.
