Miramichi Valley High School is proud to host its 3rd annual Fly Fishing and Sportman Show taking place on Friday, April 10th and Saturday, April 11th. Friday is a school based day as volunteers and students will host students from a variety of schools and community groups. Saturday is open to the public. A schedule for both days can be found in the attachments. Here is a look at Saturday's events.
Grad orders can now be placed at the school store during lunch hour. Last day for orders is Friday, April 17th. This year, grads have the option of hoodies, ¾ sleeve T-shirts and sweat pants. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Jamieson.
Principals, staff members and parents are urged to attend a PSSC Cluster Meeting on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. at the MVHS Lecture Theatre. We are hoping for a good turnout from the ten schools that will be represented at this meeting. The following is the agenda for the evening:
7:00 – 7:40 p.m. – Dieticians’ Information Session and Demonstration on Energy Drinks
7:40 – 8:00 p.m. – Muffins, Coffee/Tea
8:00 p.m. – Presentation by Derek Hutchison, ASD-N, on the International Student Exchange Program

On Tuesday Evening March 31ST from 6:00-8:00pm Parents and Students are invited to attend our Course Selection Fair in the Cafeteria. Teachers will be available by department to answer any questions and provide information about their courses. We also have invited Representatives from Post-Secondary Institutions to provide information to the public on admission requirements.On Wednesday Morning April 1st Students will be called to the Cafeteria by grade to meet again with teachers and make their selections for next year.
The Jostens Ring Rep. will be in the main lobby at noon on Tuesday, March 24th. She will return to our school at noon on Tuesday, April 7th. A sixty dollar deposit is required to place an order.
Report cards will go home on Wednesday, March 25th. Parent teacher times will be on Thursday, March 26th from 4-6pm and Friday, March 27th from 9-11:30am.
The grad class is selling cookie dough as a grad fundraiser. Every graduate should have received an order form. The cookie dough may also be ordered through the main office. It is ten dollars a container and we have chocolate chip, double chocolate, shortbread, ginger, oatmeal raisin, and rainbow chip. All orders must be in by March 26th.
