Updated Schedule

I've updated the schedule with some practice times and a game against Sugarloaf over the Christmas break. Please make the necessary changes to the original schedule.

November 11 Practice

New Tournament Added

The JB Boys will be participating in a tournament at Carefour next Saturday and Sunday. Schedule will be posted once I receive it.   Schedule is as follows:   Saturday, Nov 13 at 9 against ESN (2)                           at 1 against MFR (St. Louis)   Sunday, Nov 14 are crossovers and the final. Depending on where we finish on Saturday will determine if/when we play on Sunday.

Reminders

The bus is leaving the gym tomorrow at 2pm. Based on the feedback we got from the boys today parents will be driving. Please have the players there no later then 8:15. To get to BHS take the exit for King Ave. and proceed into the downtown area. You will see it on the left. The address is 640 King Ave.

Bathurst Tournament

Travel arrangements are as follows for the Bathurst tournament this weekend. Friday -  Pulamoo bus (leaving the school @ 2 regardless if you are here or not) Saturday - Parents or mini vans (must be at Bathurst High School no later then 8:15)   If you are able to drive on Saturday then please let me know ASAP. If we need mini vans then they must be rented very soon to gurantee we get them. I will be asking the boys tonight and if you are please let me know by tonight or call the school and let me know tomorrow morning by leaving a message and the number of boys you can take. Thanks.

Team Posted

The roster for this years JV Boys Basketball team is now posted in the gym. I would like to thank all the boys who came out. It was very hard to whittle the list down to 14 players from all the boys who tried out.   This season's schedule will be posted soon. This site will also be used to post recent updates including scores, changes to the schedule, and anything else noteworthy.

Tryout Times and Dates

Tryouts for this years Boys JV Basketball team will begin on Wednesday, October 20th at 4 pm and run until about 6 pm. This will be followed by another tryout on Thursday from 6 pm until about 8 pm. If needed another tryout will be held on Friday with a time to be posted. If a player can not make these tryouts and has a legitimate reason for missing them they will be permitted to tryout at a later date. Simply saying they forgot will not count preventing the player from playing basketball this coming season. Good Luck to all the boys that come out!

Open Gym and Tryouts

There will open gym for boys in grades 9 & 10 only who are interested in playing JV basketball this year tomorrow from 4-5:30 and Thursday from 6-7:30. This is not a tryout, it is simply an opportunity to get in some basketball before tryouts begin. This is only for boys in grades 9 & 10.   Tryouts will ofiicially begin on Wednesday, October 20th. Boys interested in trying out are asked to come to tryouts in shape and ready to compete for a spot on the team.
