This week we will be meeting on Tuesday in Mr. Hallihan's classroom.  We will be discussing Spring salmon fishing, licenses/regulations and live release.  If you want to switch the line on your rod to a sinking line (used during the Spring season), bring it along.  As well, bring any of your streamers (flies used in the Spring).  We will also be discussing the possibility of a fishing trip to do some Spring Salmon fishing on the Miramichi...

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 13.  The theme will once again be fly tying.  The fly of choice will be the GREEN MACHINE!!!  Many people say that there are only two flies that one needs to fish the Atlantic Salmon - a green machine and a spare one...  Come out and have some fun at the vice.    NOTE:  The ASF is asking all anglers to complete an online survey on "Live Release".  If possible, click on the link below and complete the survey before April 15.  There is a chance to win a limited edition print.  Your input is important!   http://atlanticsalmonfederation.org/
We will meeting on Monday, March 29 after school in Mr. Hallihan's classroom. We are pleased to host two guests from the Atlantic Salmon Federation:  Geoff Giffin and Martin Silverstone, who is the editor of the Altantic Salmon Journal.  Here is a link to his profile... . http://www.asf.ca/staff.php?cid=52   If time permits, we will continue tying salmon flies so bring any equipment that you may have at home.
