This scholarship is available annually to a graduating Indigenous student from New Brunswick. The recipient of the scholarship will be chosen by ASRNB in consultation with family and must:
- Demonstrate school pride and spirit.
- Show leadership in the classroom and in extra-curricular activities.
- Maintain strong attendance.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic in and out of the classroom. Preference to a student who also has employment outside of school.
- Possess a caring personality and shows the importance of giving back to others and their community.
- Demonstrate integrity and respect in the classroom, extracurricular activities and in
Personal/family life.
- Have a passion for automobiles, the outdoors and all things motorized.
- Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork. This is defined as working hard, playing with heart,
and putting team goals before personal goals.
- Continue onto post-secondary education with a program requirement of at least one
academic year. Preference is given to the field of policing/ correctional.
