Schulich Leader Scholarships are prestigious entrance scholarships awarded to high school graduates enrolling in a STEM program at one of 20 Canadian partner universities. These scholarships are valued between $100,000 and $120,000. If you would like to be considered for nomination, please give your name to Ms. O’Donnell by Friday, January 20^th, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria:

·         graduate in June 2023

·         be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

·         plan to enroll in an eligible STEM program at a partner university and meet the following criteria:

o   academic excellence

o   leadership, charisma and creativity

o   strong consideration will be given to students with financial need

·         be entrepreneurial-minded and intend to pursue a career in one or more of the following areas:

Ø  technology

Ø  engineering

Ø  entrepreneurship and business enterprise

Ø  applied scientific research

Students considering futures in the following fields will not be considered:

Ø  focus on activism (environmental/political/societal

Ø  intend to become a practicing physician and/or medical researcher (e.g. Doctor, Dentist, Nurse, Psychologist, Pharmacist, Optometrist, etc.)

Ø  Intend to become a professor and conduct theoretical research
