Today we started into some notes on food chains and food webs... will further discuss them tomorrow. Bonnie Wright and Betty Ward brought delivered our eggs and gave a great presentation on the life cycle of a salmon. They also told some great stories about the salmon and shared their passion for the river. Now it's our job to maintain the tank and make sure that the fish can make their journey back to the Northwest Miramichi.

Today we went back over the notes given before March Break and discussed the progress of the biome brochure. Reminder that it is due next Monday (good link in the notes to help your research). We started work on ecosystems and discussed in more detail some of the terms. We will work on food chains and food webs tomorrow...

Today we reviewed the notes that were discussed on Tuesday. We also watched a TED talk on biospheres and the video link is in this lesson. I passed out the Travel Brochure project on biomes and your progress report. During IS we had a Skype presentation from Sarah Lehnert, who is a former MVHS grad that is working on her PhD studying aquacultures.
HW: We will be doing research on the computer tomorrow so bring any necessary materials.
