The MVHS Drama Club presents Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's classic Broadway comedy Once in a Lifetime. This is a knockabout tale of three on-the-skids vaudeville troupers Jerry, Mae and George, who decide to head to Hollywood and try their luck at the newest craze 'talking pictures'.
Showdates are March 30 - April 3 @ 7pm. Tickets will be available at the door or by calling 627-4083.
On Tuesday, March 22nd from 6:00-8:00pm parents and students are invited to attend our Course Selection Fair in the Cafeteria. Teachers will be available fom 6-7pm by department to answer any questions and provide information about their courses. We also have invited representatives from Post-Secondary Institutions to provide information to the public on admission requirements. They will be available from 6-8pm along with our Guidance team.
The Student Superpower Challenge is a a creative, entrepreneurial & innovative competition for Maritime high school students. Beacons for the Community - congrats to Shafkat Ahmed!
All parents, guardians, students, and friends in the community are invited to the MVHS Wellness Breakfast taking place on Friday, February 12th from 7am-9am. This is a free breakfast, hosted by the entire MVHS staff. In addition to breakfast, there will be several wellness displays, draws, and entertainment. We hope to see you there!
MVHS will be hosting the NE Conference Regional for senior boys on February 12th and 13th. All games will be played at MVHS. The top 4 teams from the Regional will move on to the Provincial Sectional on February 19th and 20th. The winning team at the Regional will also host one of the two AAA Provincial Sectionals for senior boys being held in the Province.
