Students received their proofs for the picture packages today. Orders can be made online or by bringing the completed order form and money to the main office by November 9. If students need retakes, please see me at the main office.
It has been brought to the attention of the school that there is some confusion about an announcement stating parents may pick up test kits at schools if their child is a close contact to a positive case of COVID-19.
Please be advised that Test Kits will only be delivered to Miramichi Valley High School if a positive case has been identified at the school level. This procedure does not include a child who is a close contact outside the school i.e. sport teams, family gatherings, youth groups, etc.
The Covid vaccination clinic will be held at the school on Wednesday, October 6. Forms can be picked up and returned to the school. Please call school for more information.
September 22nd, students received an information sheet and consent form from public health. Public Health has invited your child to a Covid-19 vaccination clinic that will take place at the school in October.
If your child has already had the vaccine, but has not received their second dose, this may be given during the clinic day at the school if the gap between the two vaccines is within 28 days. Simply bring proof of vaccination of their first dose to the clinic.
The School immunization date for 9 students at MVHS has changed from September 29, 2021 to September 17, 2021. This is to accommodate a Covid-19 Immunization clinic in the school on October 4, 2021. Further communication will follow. Please send the signed immunization consent form to the school if you have not already sent it.
