Miramichi Valley High School is offering a new course this fall for French Immersion Students who love the sport of hockey. The course is a recognized Hockey Canada Skills Academy and will focus on the fundamentals of the game through three on-ice, one classroom and one off-ice training session each week (covid rules may alter this schedule somewhat). It is offered during 3rd period first semester and open to any FI students regardless of ability or playing experience. Priority will be given to grade 9 and 10s.

Grade 11 and 12 students interested in being a Boomerang leader this year are asked to contact Mr. Sullivan by Monday, August 31. Prospective leaders must be available the afternoon of September 4 and the mornings of September 8 and 9 for the orientation. Attention MVHS students - student council fees may be paid on Wednesday, September 2 from 9am to noon in the main lobby or at noon during the first week of school. The fee is $50.00 and includes a student identification card and locker rental. Cheques may be made payable to MVHS Student Council. Please indicate the student’s name on the reference line of the cheque.
