Looking for local artisans and crafters for the MVHS Christmas Market!The Market will be held from 12pm to 5pm at Miramichi Valley High School on November 3, 10, 17, and 24 also December 1, 8, and 15. We are looking for vendors of handcrafted, handmade, homemade items only please….that does include baking! The MVHS boys baseball team will host the AAA Northen Boys Baseball Zones from September 26-30 at Cardinal Park. Day passes are available at a cost of $3 per student and $5 for adults. The top two teams will move on to Regional play which will also be hosted by MVHS at Cardinal Park on October 5.Northern Conference Zone Tournament

Beaubear Credit Union has recently donated funds to help
Miramichi Valley High School start a breakfast program. The program will offer breakfast to any
student who for whatever reason did not get a chance to eat before leaving for
school. September 24th will
be the first day of the program and it will run every Tuesday and
Thursday. Items such as yogurt and toast
will be available in the Culinary Café from 8:00 am until 8:20 am.
The fall yearbook sale will take place next Monday through to Friday at lunch time. The cost of the yearbook is $37.00 or $42.00 with embossed personalization and up to four icons. Yearbooks will also be on sale at the Ford Drive One For Your School event this Friday, as well as during the Open House next week. This is a great opportunity for students to get their yearbooks at a cheaper price. Also, there will be a limited number of yearbooks purchased this year, so it is important to purchase your book early! We are also offering online purchasing this year. Simply go to
Our first MVHS school dance will take place on Friday, September 20th from 7:30-10:30. Doors will close at 9:00. Cost of tickets are $10.00. If you show up wearing blue and gold, you will get a toonie back. There are no refunds on tickets. Tickets will be sold all week in the lobby but will not be sold at the door. Parents, don't forget when you drop off student off to drive a new Ford vehicle to help support our school.
In honour of MVHS Homecoming week, students will be able to shop for "MVHS Goodies" near The Moose at lunchtime for the entire week. "MVHS Goodies" include a variety of reasonably priced jewelry and locker magnets with our school colours. They are the perfect addition to your outfit on Blue and Gold Day (Friday, September 20th). All proceeds from the sale of MVHS Goodies go to the MVHS Student Council.
Friday, September 20th, MVHS will be hosting a Drive 4UR School Event!!!!
This event, with the support of Towne Ford, will hopefully help us to raise up to $6000 for our school!!!
We are looking for the support of all parents and any other people, who would be willing to come to our school Friday between 3 and 8, to do a test drive of a Brand-New Ford vehicle.
There is no cost to complete the test-drive. And, for every test drive completed, MVHS will recieve $20 from Ford.
The first swimming practice will be on Monday, September 23rd at 4:00. Practices will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 4-5:30. Even if you haven't signed up, you can show up for the first practice.
