Students who have applied or will be to St.Thomas University, can pick up applications for the Harrison McCain Scholarship in the guidance department.The value of the scholarship is $16 000 over four years of study at St.Thomas university. The deadline is March 1st, 2014.
The Kidney Foundation of canada, is pleased to offer a $500 bursary this year for kidney patients or their children. Applications can be picked up the guidance department. The deadline is April 25th 2014.
All parents, students and friends in the community are invited to the MVHS Wellness Breakfast taking place on Friday, February 21st from 7am-9am. This is a free breakfast hosted by the entire MVHS staff. In addition to breakfast, there will be several wellness booths, draws and entertainment. We hope you can join us Friday.

Due to the change in the exam schedule, Mr. Svarc's skit trip planned for this weekend will be postponed. Mr. Svarc will announce the new date shortly.
Due to today's school cancellation, the exams that were scheduled for today, January 22nd, will be written tomorrow, January 23rd.. As a result, the exam schedule will move ahead one day. Exams that were scheduled for Thursday will now be written on Friday, and exams that were scheduled for Friday will now be written on Monday. There will be no classes for students on Tuesday, January 28th. Semester 2 will start on Wednesday, January 29th.
Course changes for grade 10, 11, and 12 students can be made prior to the start of sem 2 on the following days during exam week:
