Students worked on their research project today in the computer lat.  It is due next Thursday, Dec 16th.   We are almost finished the first chapter in the Ecosystem Unit therefore a test will be coming up next week sometime.

Notes on Populations Notes on Species at Risk and project assigned.  Written research report on a species extinct or endangere due Dec 16th. If possible the species should be chosen by tomorrow   Computer lab to work on the project Tues Dec 7th and Friday Dec 10th

Food Web project is due Friday.  Students were given time in class today and last Friday to research information.  The project is to be completed as a poster.   Period 3 tomorrow will have a boomerang activity.

Newton's Laws Project is due tomorrow, this can be a video or a skit demonstrating & explaining the laws.   Worksheet assigned today in class is due to Friday.

Took notes on the drop in frog populations, why frogs are important and what some of the causes are.   Started the video "The Vanishing Frog" will continue with it tomorrow.   Students have a food web project due friday, they should be working on this at home.  They will be given one more class period on Wednesday.

Students were given the period to research and begin planning how they are going to demonstrate the Three laws of Newton in a video or skit for next Thursday.  The students will be given one more period next Tuesday to work in their groups on this project, time outside of class will most likely be required to complete the assignment.

Students were to complete a worksheet handout yesterday in regards to information obtained from specific websites listed on the sheet.  They were given time to start working on the Reseau Alimentaire(Food Web) project due next Friday.  They will be given one more day next week in class but the project will require more time outside the class to be completed.

Watched a short video on significant figures (les chiffres significatif)  and did a few questions together.  A worksheet on this was assigned for homework. Corrected part of the worksheet assigned for homework last night and collected for marks. Discussed project assigned in which groups of 2-3 will be doing a video or short skit to illustrate the understanding of the 3 laws of Newton.   Marks were updated on the website as of yesterday.
