Homework

Math 9 - Students were assigned the following questions for homework: Questions  10 (all), 12, 14 (all), 15, 16 (all, show work), 18, 19, and 22 on pages 66 - 68.  Students had roughly 20 - 25 minutes of class time to complete these. Students can also expect a quiz on exponents on Thursday of this week.   Math 10 - Students were assigned a question from the board for homework.

Progress Reports

Student progress reports were handed out in class today. Students received a sheet indicating their work ethic and whether or not all assignments have been handed in as well as a second sheet detailing their mark to date. The two sheets are stapled together so students do not misplace them.

Math 9 - Students were assigned the following questions on page 66 for homework: 3 (a, c, e) 4 (a, c, e, g) 5 (e, g) 7 8 (a,f)   Math 10 - Students were assigned the remainder of the worksheet given out in class on Wednesday for homework as well as questions 1, 3, 4, 6, & 7 on pages 209 & 210.

Math 9 - Students were assigned the following questions for homework: Pages 61 - 62 - Questions # 4(a, b) # 5(a, b, c, d) #6(a, c, e) #8( a, c, e) #9(a, c, e) #10 all #11 #13   Math 10 - Students were asked to complete the first 3 questions on a worksheet that was handed out in class.

Math 9 - Students were assigned questions 20 - 23 on page 56 along with a worksheet for homework. Math 10 - Students were assigned questions 1 - 5 on pages 201 - 203 for homework.

Math 9 - Students were assigned questions 9, and 11-16 (only do 15a) for homework. Those students who missed the test yesterday will write it tomorrow at lunch. Math 10 - Students were assigned questions from the board today in class.

Math 9 - Students wrote their unit tests today. Students who were absent today will have to write the unit test at a specified make up time.   Math 10 - Students started the next chapter on converting temperature, mass, and volume. They finished an in class assignment and were assigned the first three rows of a worksheet that was handed out in class.

Math 9 - Students were given a review for their test on Monday. The review is as follows: Questions 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10. 14. 19, 20a, and 23 on pages 144 - 145. Students may use a calculator for these questions. If students need more practice then they may also do the practice test on page 146. All answers are in the back of the textbook. Math 10 - Students wrote a test today so no homework.

Math 9 - Students in period 1 and 6 have the following questions for homework: Questions 4, 7ad, 8ab, 9, 11a, 12, and 13cd on page 140. Students in period 4 only have questions 3 and 4 on page 140 for homework.   Math 10 - Students have a test tomorrow on chapter 4. Students were given a practice test today that will be very similar to the test given in class tomorrow. Students will need a calculator and may use their conversion sheet during the test.

Math 9 - Periods 1 and 6 have 2 questions from the board as well as question #3 from page 140 for homework. Students in period 4 have the same homework but due to the Rick Hanson relay students are asked to attempt these questions. Students have seen been taught the order of operations (BEDMAS) in past grades and should have a basic understanding of it and thus be able to attempt the homework questions. UNIT TEST ON MONDAY!!!!   Questions from the board are as follows:   1) 3.3 - [(-5) +1]3                         2) (-2.7) x (3.4 - 8.5) - 6.1 ÷ 7   Math 10 - Students were assigned questions 1 - 6 on page 182 for homework. Students will work on a practice test tomorrow and then have a test on converting units and measurements on FRIDAY!
