Science 9 - Students reviewed for their test tomorrow in class today. A copy of the rough answers to the assigned review questions are posted on the main page.
Biology 112 - Students examined homeostasis and began examining the respiratory system today in class.

Science 9 - Students were outside with the mobile energy center again today. They will be reviewing tomorrow for their test on Friday.
Biology 112 - Students wrote their animal kingdom test today.

Science 9 - Students worked on test reviews and assignments in class. They will be outside tomorrow with the mobile energy center.
Biology 112 - Students were at a presentation during class today. They will be writing an open book test tomorrow.

Science 9 - Students got a chance to look at some examples of renewable energy sources at the mobile energy center courtesy of the Gaia project today. Students will get another chance to examine these later in the week. Students can also expect a test later this week.
Biology 112 - Students spent part of the class in the lab today. Students then returned to the class and were given reviews for their open book test on Wednesday.

Science 9 - Students worked on two activities in class today. One involved creating a demonstration to show how bioaccumulation occurs and the second was an assignment on soil. The assignment is posted and students will have a chance to work on it next week before handing it in. Students should start preparing for a test next week as well.
Biology 112 - Students worked on their mammal outlines today. Students are to complete these over the weekend. Students will begin review for their animal kingdom test on Monday as well as participating in a lab activity.

Science 9 - Students had their weekend homework checked today. Students learned about pesticides today in class and will have a short quiz on pesticides and bioamplification tomorrow. Biology 112 - Students finished their look at birds today and began learning about class Mammalia today. They will continue to look at this class tomorrow and can expect a test covering the entire animal kingdom, including development, on Tuesday, May 10th.

Science 9 - Students learned about the nitrogen cycle today after having their homework corrected. Homework was assigned and students are reminded it must be complete in order to participate with the Gaia Project group next week.
Biology 112 - Students completed their frog dissections today in the lab. Students will have some time to finish their lab reports on Monday before handing them in.

Science 9 - Students learned about the carbon cycle today in class. Students were assigned 3 homework questions, questions 3, 4, and 5a from page 65 for homework.
Biology 112 - Students dissected frogs today in class and will finish them up tomorrow.

Science 9 - Students continued looking at the carbon cycle today in class. They had an opportunity to find out their carbon footprint. Students were assigned homework questions in period 1, none for period 2 or 6.
Biology 112 - Students examined the three classes of fish and amphibians today in class. Students will be dissecting frogs tomorrow in class.
