Student council fees may be paid on Thursday, August 28th from 9am to 12 noon in the main lobby or during the first week of school. The fee for each student is $45.00.  It includes the locker rental. All locks have been changed and students will obtain the locker combination when they pay the student council fee.    Cheques should be made payable to MVHS Student Council - EXACT amount only.  Please indicate the student’s name on the reference line of the cheque.

There will be an information meeting for parents of potential graduates on Monday, June 2nd at 7pm in the conference room. Please come to the main entrance and students will direct you to the room. We will go over everything you need to know about graduation and graduation rehearsal, prom, baccaulaurate, scholarships, and much more.

The Miramichi Area Turnaround Achievement Awards ceremonies was held on May 27th at the Rodd Miramichi River Hotel. Twenty-six area students were recognized Tuesday evening for their accomplishment in overcoming obstacles in their lives that interfered with their progress. More than 200 people attended the gala event sponsored by the Rotary Club of Chatham and Beaubear Credit Union.  Guest Speaker, Mr. Bruce Rendell, Chatham Rotary President, spoke about the work of the club in the community and congratulated the evening’s guests of honour, the students.
