The MVHS Boys hockey team will be hosting the JMH Tommies Friday night January 25th. Game time is 7:30 PM at the Miramichi Civic Centre. This is the last time these teams will meet this year in the regular season.
Exams run from Monday, January 21st to Friday, January 25th. Students are only required to be at school during their exam writing times. Students must be in the cafeteria or library if they are not writing an exam. Buses will be running at the regular times. Exam schedules are available at the main office and on the school website. Please make sure to return all text books. Students may return textbooks in the morning in the main lobby.
The English Language Proficiency Assessment will be taking place on January 15th and 16th. All grade 9 students are required to write, as well as grade 11 and 12 students who were not previously successful. Rooms of writing are available by all teachers. In case of school cancelation, the entire schedule will be pushed a day. If you have any questions, please contact Scott Jamieson.

Tuesday- Pyjama Day (Pay 1$ to your Homeroom Teacher to wear your pyjamas/slippers for the day! They must be school appropriate! Funds raised go to groceries for Adopt a Family!!!!!)
Wednesday- Ugly Christmas Sweater Day- Raid your closets!
Thursday- Christmas Character Day- Rudolph, Scrooge ...
Friday- Christmas Present Day- Wrap yourself up!

The Christmas Dinner will be served on Thursday, December 13. It is a traditional meal of roasted turkey with savory stuffing, creamy mashed potatoes, vegetables, roll, a choice of dessert and white milk, all for $6.75. Enjoy!
The Atlantic College and University visit will be on Tuesday, November 27 from 7-8:30pm located in the gymnasium. This event is open to the public and admission is free.
Grade 11 and 12 MVHS students will be attending information sessions on Wednesday, November 28th from 8:45-11:00am. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our guidance department.
There will be a variety show Thursday, November 29 beginning at 7pm in the main theater. All students, parents and friends are encouraged to come! Tickets are $5.00 per person and are available at the door. We will also be deciding the winner of this years MV Idol at the variety show so come out and support them in the final round!
