The MVHS boys baseball advanced from the Zone and Regional play-offs, and are participating in the Provincials this weekend at Ironmen Park in Chatham. The boys play Leo Hayes at 1:00pm for the second semi-final. The winner of this game will advance to play the winner of the first semi-final game between JMH and Oromocto High being played at 10:00pm. The Provincial Final game is played at 4:00pm.
Re-takes will take place Tuesday, Oct. 16. Please note that you must bring your proofs back with you, unless you were absent on the first photo day in September.
New Brunswick is currently experiencing an outbreak of whooping cough (Pertussis). The best way to protect against whooping cough is through immunization. Grade 9 students will receive a Tetanus-Diphtheria-whooping cough vaccine at school. All grade nine students are also eligible for a vaccine against meningococcal infection. This vaccine offers protection against four types of meningococcal disease: A, C, Y, and W-135.All grade nine students received two pamplets on October 10th that will include the consent forms.

The boys rugby team, in support of their March tour to Ireland, have an account set up at Doran’s recycling. Any one that would like to support the team are encouraged to drop off bottles in the teams name.
