A photographer has been hired to take pictures at the prom. The cost is thirty dollars for two 5x7s and eight wallet sized photos. The photographer will be set up in the main theatre and students must pay the photographer on prom night. Pictures will be available for pick up at the school on Thursday, June 21st, any time after lunch .
We are changing the traffic pattern and the Prom-Drop off area for the MVHS 2012 Prom. The changes will aid in reducing traffic congestion, give spectators more room to watch the prom precession, and allow grads more time to enjoy the limelight. Please check the map below for details.
In order to obtain a clear perspective on student demographics, for effective planning for the pending new school district, Anglophone North, effective July 01st, 2012, the Senior District Administration and Office of the Superintendent are requesting that all parents/ guardians seeking an out-of-zone school placement for their child/ children, for the 2012-2013 school-year, do so in writing. Letters of request are to be sent to Miss Nancy Boucher, Superintendent, c/o Mr. Andrew Clark, Interim Superintendent, ED16, 78 Henderson Street, Miramichi, N.B., E1N 2R7.
The last day of school for students will be Thursday June 21- 2012. MVHS students can stop into the school anytime to get their report cards. There are no regular classes on Thursday. The cafeteria will not be open on this day.
This is the last week of regular classes. Exams will start on Monday, June 11th and continue until Thursday, June 14th. Students only need to be at school during the time of writing during exam week. Report cards can be picked up on Thursday, June 21st. Please note: there will be no cafeteria service during exam week or on June 21st.
Come and pick up your 2012 YEARBOOKS in room 2222 at lunchtime any day this week. They are $42 and will be selling quickly. Cheques can be made payable to "MVHS Yearbook".

The Student Financial Services Branch (SFS) of the Department of Post Secondary Education Training and Labour is pleased to announce a new web based presentation on student financial assistance programs for New Brunswick high school students and their parents. This webinar replaces the annual visitation program and will make it possible for Student Financial Services to reach more students and parents.
Grad fees are sixty one dollars and are due by May 28th. A five dollar late fee will be charged after this date. Please pay with exact change or make cheques payable to MVHS Grad. Students may pay the grad fee to John McNally in the main lobby at noon or to me in the main office.
Safe Grad fees are five dollars and are also due by May 28th. Each grad may bring a guest for an additional five dollars. The fee may be paid in the main lobby at noon or to me in the main office.
