We discussed the pros/cons from the article 'What's the Fuss About Fracking'.  We did our own Ecological Footprint...do yours for 5 ecopoints.  Also watched the story of stuff and discussed ways to become more green.

We discussed and listed all the environmental issues from the Lorax video (be sure to watch this if you missed Friday).  Gave out notes with the key terms for Unit 1.  Watched video clip explaining Fracking and handed out article called 'What's the Fuss About Fracking'...see lesson for handout.  Be sure to...HOMEWORK:  1)  Read the article                         2)  List the Pros/Cons                         3)  Complete the vocabulary crossword

Today we discussed the 5 questions from yesterday, copied notes on anthropocentric/biocentric/ecocentric and watched the Lorax. HOMEWORK:  Make sure you watch the video (link in the lesson) and answer the following...                         1)  list all environmental issues found in the film                          2)  what point of view is the Lorax?  the Onceler?                          3)  Film form 1972...how does it compare to Miramichi 2014?Be sure to check out the latest Eco-Point opportunities!
