You can purchase CSA APPROVED CLEAR LENSES SAFETY GLASSES from me @ $5.00/Pair

You must provide your own CSA approved boots/shoes.

-No glasses will be given to students who have not paid for the item as I (Mr. Bruce) covered the cost of buying the glasses.

-If you have your own that are CSA approved and have clear lenses, you may use them, I will not have pairs available to be borrowed.

-If you don’t have your glasses, you will not be permitted to work in the shop and you will be assigned a detention for “not being prepared for class”.

Welding and Metals Processing students PPE needs

Welcome back students!

If you are enrolled in my STTE classes (Metals Fabrication 110, Metals Processing 110/120) YOU are required to provide the following personal protective equipment in order to work in the shop:

CSA approved steel toed boots/shoes in good condition.

CSA approved clear lense safety glasses.

Acceptable clothing-long sleeve cotton shirts, jeans or work pants-no synthetic materials are to be worn.

Students will be assigned the required PPE for welding and cutting operations by the instructor as well as any other PPE above and beyond basics of CSA approved boots/shoes and CSA approved glasses.

If you misuse the safety equipment I provide you to complete assigned duties, you will lose priveleges to access these items and you will have to provide your own.
