Hope everyone is having a great day!  If a parent/guardian would like to conduct a parent/teacher interview with me, please ask them to email me at with their name and a phone number and what is a good time for me to contact them (preferably between 4-6 pm this evening or 9-12 tomorrow morning if possible). If these times are not convenient, specify in the email when responding.

Hey there!

Grads!!!!! Dont forget to keep checking the MVHS webpage and Facebook pages for important updates.

Hope all of you are doing well and checking out the online learning possibilities that we-the STTE educators and your other teachers are posting.  Keep in mind that it is near the end of May and by this point we would have been fully immersed in activities in the shop and wrapping up projects as the end of the term approaches.

If you have been working on any projects while learning from home, this is your assignment:

Create a short video outling the work you have been doing.

Be sure to exhibit safe working procedures, briefly describe the steps to completing (or need to be completed) the task.

I have been doing some detailing work on my Duster, some electrical work on my motorcycle and numerous other things.

All require planning, safety considerations, tool use etc.

I hope that i get some feedback from those of you in my classes as i am curious to see what you have been up to!

Once you have a video completed, send me a text (506) 210-2096 and let me know how it is easiest for you to share it with me (and classmates if you want to upload to social media sites).

It has been approximately 2 months since we have been together in our classroom/shop setting. With nicer weather and more opportunities for doing activities outside, do not forget about potential hazards and act accordingly to protect your personal safety. I have uploaded a document you can have a look at that will help refresh your memory on some of the key topics that you should keep in mind.

As always....dont hesitate to email or text if you have any questions or just need to have a quick chat.

Dont forget to check out other informationon the MVHS webpage and Facebook pages (especially GRADS)

Continue to use the information posted last week to keep your trades related math skills fresh in your mind.

We had just wrapped up safety and it was time to start working in the shop to complete practical activities.

Over the next week, look on YouTube and find some videos to watch that show the proper set up and use of the tools/machines and equipment we completed the safety activity sheets for.

Think about some of the things that we use in our daily lives or have in our surrounding environment that are produced using these machines and techniques and then see if you can find a video to watch to show how that item is made.

I will be making contact with those of you who i have contact information for to check to see how you are doing and if you have any questions!

Stay safe and have a great day:)
