Students will receive their course selection sheets on Monday , Feb 27th . Feb 28, will be a parent/student course information at MVHS Cafeteria from 6-7:30 for all grades. Parents and students are highly encouraged to attend this information session to plan for their upcoming academic year.  On March 1st and 2nd students will be entering their selected courses in computer labs during their English classes. IF you have any question please contact the MVHS guidance dept.

A representative will be at MVHS on February 14th at noon to do on-the-spot admission appointments.  Students must bring an official transcript showing first semester marks, a list of second semester courses, $40.00 application fee, and a completed application form.  Please see Miss O’Donnell to schedule an appointment. 

Upcoming Next Steps Information Session, February 13th at 7:00pm.  They will discuss financing a university degree, residence, and scholarship applications.

Students will have a chance to learn about programs, tour the campus, and find out about student societies.  *Note: Application fees are waived during this event!!

NB IT Council Guarantees Tech Jobs to High-school Students   The NBITC is pleased to once again offer job guarantees to up to 25 of this year’s high-school graduating class.  Successful applicants will be guaranteed a full-time job at current market rates with one of the participating companies on completion of a mutually agreeable technology related post-secondary degree or diploma.  The Council is also pleased to announce it is partnering with Rising Stars to offer a mentoring program to the “The Class of 2012”, many of who will also be provided with summer employment, work-terms, and potentially scholarships.    Details on how to apply can be found at www.NBITC.ca/class-2012 . The application deadline is June 15th.
