For the 6th year in a row, Opportunities NB invites graduating high students who are enrolled in a New Brunswick post-secondary institution to apply for the NB Proud Awards. The awards, valued at $1,000 each, will be presented to 10 finalists to support their post-secondary educational goals.

We are reaching out directly to high schools across the province to encourage graduating students to apply!

This year, applicants are asked to write a short essay on one of three topics: what was the most impactful thing they learned in high school, why they chose to attend a New Brunswick post secondary institution, or who/what inspired their choice of program or career. They will also be asked to take and submit a photo that relates to their essay topic. We are looking for creative and positive responses that represent the great opportunities and people here in New Brunswick, and we encourage students to have fun with this initiative!
