Yearbooks will be available for sale in Room 2222 throughout the week for $42. Ms. Graves will be there whenever she is not supervising exams.  Get yourself a book before they are all gone!World Yearbooks are also available for $4.  These are great keepsakes. They contain lots of information about world events from 2010-2011.

A group of Miramichi Valley High School English students have successfully completed a project of making persuasive presentations to decision makers resulting in a significant improvement in access to one of Miramichi West’s most frequently used public entrances …. the doorways leading to the gymnasium and pool area of MVHS. The 2011 grad fee is seventy dollars. There will be a ten dollar discount for those students who do not attend the prom.  This fee must be paid in order to participate in the graduation activities.  The fee must be paid by Friday, May 27.  An additional five dollars will be charged for those students who do not meet the deadline.  The final date that the graduation fee will be accepted is June 10, 2011.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Hudson.   The 2011 safe grad fee is five dollars and the deadline to pay the fee is Friday, May 27.

Congratulations to the winners of the MVHS Oratory Competition: Kathleen MacMillan (first place), Christina Hubbard (second place), and Caden Bass (third place). Kathleen and Christina went on to the District 16 competition on Friday, May 13, and Kathleen placed third with her speech about the need for a city sportsdome.
