There is a direct link between school attendance and school performance.  It is crucial to student success that students are in class each day.  English 122 is a compulsory course needed for graduation.  If a student is regularly absent, he or she is seriously impacting their performance in the class which is jeopardizing the credit which in turn jeopardizes graduation.  If this is the case, please rectify the situation asap.  Addressing the situation in June is too late.

Act 1, Scene 2 Shakespeare used the soliloquy to great effect in order to express some of the personal thoughts and emotions of characters 1.  Translate Edmund's soliloquy (lines 1 - 22).  Rewrite it in one of the following voices: a.  a Miramichier b.  a gangsta rapper c.  a hippy d.  a cowboy Maintain the ideas of Edmund, but use language and diction which fits the voice you have selected. 2.  What do the last six lines of the scene further add? 3.  Why does Shakespeare include the parallel plots?  Why does he want to repeat the same idea? NOTE:  Questions 1 is due Monday.               Value 10 + 5 bonus marks for delivering an enthusiastic reading while   wearing a minimum of one costume item
