Welcome back to all of our students and parents!  The students have all received course outlines that indicate any special supplies that are needed for their courses.  For English 10 and Writing 110, it is very important that students have a hard cover writers notebook.  These can be purchased at the Dollarstore, Walmart, Staples, etc.

English 9: We are finishing up our year by taking a closer look at William Shakespeare and the Elizabethan era.  This will give our students a strong base as they move into more analytical studies of Shakespeare next year.    Writing 110: The students are currently working on their final project, which is a multi-genre study.  The students must complete three different pieces on the same topic by next Thursday.

Our grade nine students have been creating some wonderful drama productions.  The students had the choice to create a video, radio, readers theatre, or stage adaptation of one of the plays we covered during this unit.  There is some amazing talent in this group!
