Science 9 - Students learned about mitosis today in class. An assignment and homework questions were given. The assignments are due Monday and involve using a handout from class. Students must lable the stages of mitosis as well as the following organelles where necessary: Nucleus, Centriole, and Chromosome.   Biology 112 - Students worked on their dichotomous key assignments for part of the class and on an assignment/note sheet for the remainder of class. The assignments are due on Monday and there will be a quiz on Monday about Archaebacteria and Eubacteria that corresponds to the assignment/note sheet. 

Science 9 - Students finished working on their group activities about spontaneous generation. Students will have a quiz on spontaneous generation and organelles/functions tomorrow. Students began looking at cell movement and will cover the importance of cell reproduction tomorrow.   Biology 112 - Students were in the theater today watching a play for their english classes. Homework assigned on the previous day will be reviewed tomorrow and students will be doing an activity using a dichotomous key tomorrow in class. Please note, the midterm will take place after report cards go out as we have not yet covered half of the material in the course.

Science 9 - Students reviewed for their test today on their own and in groups playing a modified version of Jeopardy. Test is tomorrow. If a student is absent be aware that they will write it on the first day back from March break.   Biology 112 - Students wrote their test on photosynthesis and cellular respiration today.

Science 9 - Students finished off the space unit material and were also given their reviews. The test for this material will be on Friday and any student who misses it will write it on the first day after March break. Review is posted.   Biology 112 - Students finished working on their poster projects which are due tomorrow. Students also got their reviews for their test tomorrow as well as the answers to the questions on it. Review answers are posted.
