Science 9 - Students had a quiz to start the class and then learned about nondisjunction and some genetic disorders. No homework tonight. Students will be working on in class assignments tomorrow and are expected to bring either pencil crayons or markers.   Biology 112 - Students finished learning about angiosperms today. They also started a jigsaw activity and will complete it tomorrow. The midterm will be on Monday and will consist of all material covered to date (including the jigsaw material). Reviews will be handed out tomorrow and students will be reviewing tomorrow and Friday for the midterm.

Science 9 - Students had their homework checked and corrected. Some of the answers are posted. Students then read a section of their textbook on transplant farms. Students had group discussions and then presented their views to the class.   Biology 112 - Students learned about the fern and gymnosperm life cycles today in class. Questions were assigned and are as follows:   Questions 3 & 4 on page 563 Questions 1 - 4 on page 568 Question 1 on page 616

Science 9 - Students started examining DNA today in class. Students were assigned questions 1 - 4 on page 178 for homework.   Biology 112 - Students wrote their test on Taxonomy up to Fungi today. They will be starting plants tomorrow.

Science 9 - Students wrote a test today on Chapter 5. Any student who missed the test today will write it on Monday.   Biology 112 - Students worked on their essays and test reviews today. The test on material covering Taxonomy, Archaebacteria, Eubacteria, Protista, and Fungi will be on Monday and the essay is also due on Monday.
