BBT / Personal Wellness 9:
Students worked on personality surveys, career connections, and resumes on myBlueprint. They also continued to work on their keyboarding skills.
Visual Arts 120:
Students started to sculpt mini clay sculptures, while also finishing up their Beyond the Border project that will assess their understanding of the Creative Process. Beyond the Border is due on October 12th.
Visual Arts 110:
Students started on their one-point perspective project, where they will try to draw a hallway in the school in perspective to the best of their abilities, and then add in an original twist that fits in with a creepy/horror/Halloween feel. Their Mash-Up project is due on October 12th.
Visual Arts 10:
Students are finishing their Oil Pastel creations (due October 12th). Many have also moved onto the next project, where they get to tackle the cultural themes often associated with this time of year (Halloween, creepy, horror, decay, death, autumn, etc) by creating their own unique piece of art. They can use almost any media they'd lilke to try, but they do have to incorporate a piece that comes off the page.

BBT & Personal Wellness 9
We have worked our way through Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Powerpoint. Students have passed in their first 10 keyboarding lessons, and the next 10 are due at the end of next week (passed in on Teams).
For Personal Wellness, we explored Residential Schools, MMIWG, and did a project on Indigenous Heroes/Influential Figures. Now students are finishing up an introduction to myBlueprint.
Note to parents: if your child mentions that they're falling behind, most work can also be done at home. Students have black dutotangs that they can bring home with them that have all of their handouts, but most are available on Teams as well. If they would like more time at school to work, I can arrange for the computer lab to be open at lunch time.
