The Elves and the Shoemaker
The devious millionaire head of ShoeBucks attempts to take over the last old-fashioned shoe store in town, run by Avner and his son Izzy. But Izzy calls on reinforcements in the form of zany and magical elves to save the family business. Will they succeed, or will the bad guy gain control of not only the store, but the elves as well? Bring the whole family and enjoy this fun-filled reeling of the classic Grimm's fairy tale.
Play runs December 16-19 @ 7PM with a matinee on December 18 @ 2 PM.
Congrats to Tyler Mullin, our first "Drive 4 Success Hole in One Challenge" Winner. In order to qualify for the monthly draw, students must have no office referrals for the month and have missed no more than one class that month. John qualified and by being drawn, has won $50 and a chance to win a 2011 Ford Fiesta. Please stay tuned for our December draw.
Novembeard has come to an end to the delight of many staff and students, but most will agree that is was a success. Staff and students have raised close to $800 which will be donated to Prostate Cancer Research and The MVHS Grad Class. A special thanks goes out to John Hierlihy and Mr. Sullivan. Please check out some of our pictures.
Mrs. MacKnight is looking for items for upcoming sculpture and mixed-media projects. Students love to get creative with re-useable and unusual materials. Please drop off any donations at the office or send them in with students. We appreciate all of the "surprises" we have received over the years from the community.
