Associated Lodges Hall of Douglastown is offering a $2500 Scholarship to a grade 12 student in good academic standing, who has been accepted into post-secondary studies.   See attachment for application form.
Two scholarships of an annual value of $500 are available.   These scholarships are for first year attendance at any University in the Atlantic provinces or first year attendance in a two-year program of the NBCC (except where the desired academic program is not available in the region).  Sons and daughters or legal wards of members and deceased members or members in good standing of a local union affiliated with the NB Federation of Labour are eligible.   Awards are given on the basis of graduation marks, aptitude, promise, and need.   Applications must be received by June 30th.   Applications are available in Guidance.
Value: $500   The object of the award is to encourage post secondary studies of one or more years duration in fields relating to environmental protection and education.   Sons and daughters of members and deceased members or members in good standing of local unions affiliated with the NB Federation of Labour who are entering or continuing their studies in an education program compatible with the object of the award are eligible to apply.  Selection criteria include aptitude for environmental studies, promise, need, and future benefit to society and the environment of the applicant's chosen area of study.   Applications must be received no later than June 30th.   Application forms are available in Guidance.
Two awards valued at $500 each are offered annually. The objective of the award is to encourage greater public awareness and understanding of the value to workers and society.  Applicants must be pursuing post secondary education on a full-time basis or enrolled in high school at the grade 12 level or in the GED program.    Applicants must return a completed application form and fully comply with all entry rules by June 15th.   Application forms are available in Guidance.

Up to 25 awards are available to students who begin their college studies at one of our participating colleges. University programs and university-transfer programs are not eligible. The online application for the Entrance W. Garfield Weston Awards is available at www.garfieldwestonawards.ca/EntranceAwards.The award comprises an $8,000 annual stipend, a tuition waiver from a participating college and $3,500 in summer funding. It also includes a mentorship program and participation in an annual leadership conference.   See links for details.
