Students should be getting comfortable with adding and subtracting fractions and switching back and forth from improper & mixed fractions.

Lesson is attached. We worked more with rational numbers- ordering, comparing, finding rational numbers between two given numbers. Students had time to practice in class and get help.

Homework is assigned (see the last slide of the attached lesson) from a worksheet handed out in class.

Today we reviewed some of the laws of exponents (product rule, quotient rule, power rule, and power of a product rule).

Students were given a handout and asked to complete #1-18

Unfortunately due to the file crashing, I could not attach the lesson.

Homework is to practice both switching from entire radical to a mixed radical and from mixed radical to entire radical. #10 (what wasn't completed last night) and #12 (all parts).

Also tomorrow is the last day to return signed sheets to get your name in for the draw!!

Lesson is attached. Today we did a warm-up quiz on everything covered so far and began to reduce radicals to their simpliest form. Students had a handout pg.218 and were asked to complete #4 and #10(a-d) for homework.
