Jan. 10

Math 9- Lesson attached. Test is on Friday. Make sure homework assigned on the last slide is complete for tomorrow.

NRF10- Lesson attached. Some extra practice questions/ review from before the break are thrown in there too. The only ones we did today in class are those with my writing on them. Please do questions from each section (solving by graphing, substitution, and elimination) of the worksheet for homework and come to class with questions tomorrow. We will be starting word problems tomorrow! Test is on Friday.

Please note again that help is every Mon-Thurs at lunch and Tues and Thurs after school.

Everyone can start preparing for their exams by starting to look over old tests/reviews on their own this week. Next week we will start review in class.

NRF- Sorry for the inconvenience, but I am unable to post slides from today due to the file freezing again. I will have to come up with another method to post them from now on. Until then please watch videos on youtube (Khan Academy is good) to review how to solve a system of equations using elimination. That is what we covered today.

Smart notebook crashed for NRF10. We did some examples of solving by substitution and a worksheet was provided for practice (homework). If you were not here you can do pg 425 #5 as homework. An example all worked out can be found on pg. 418. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Math 9- Review for test. Multiple choice tomorrow and open response on Thursday. If there is no school due to a storm, students are expected to write on the next day back. Detailed answers to the surface area sheet are attached. Please make sure students are comfortable with subtracting overlap and find a missing side using pythagorean theorem-- this is where some are still having trouble.

Remember extra help is Mon-Thurs at lunch and Tues & Thurs after school.

 

NRF10- Worksheet is in the lesson attached. Please complete for homework. All you need for point slope form is a point and a slope. Plug it in and then you can rearrange to find the slope intercept form.

Math 9- Warm-up attached. Finish worksheet for homework. Everyone should be finishing up as almost two whole classes were provided to work on these. TEST is Wednesday & Thursday (multiple choice Wednesday and open response Thursday).

NRF10- Lesson attached. Homework is to ensure you have your homework up-to-date and understand how to correctly answer everything on the quiz. We will be getting into more detail with point-slope form tomorrow.
